Palette Rules

1. Use registered palette tokens only.

2. Add new colors only by updating this library and assets/definitions/palettes/*.palette.yaml.

3. Keep hero identity colors out of enemy base palettes.

4. Keep danger, warning, healing, success, and failure stable across UI and gameplay.

5. Use hue shifting: warm highlights, local mids, cool shadows.

6. Test at 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%.

7. Accessibility variants must preserve value contrast and icon support.

Contrast targets

| Hero silhouette | 4.5:1 against active background |
